What does a consumer proposal cost?
The cost of a consumer proposal can vary based on income, household size, assets, and liabilities.
This can vary. Your trustee will review your income, household size, assets, and liabilities to determine what your creditors would be expected to recover if you were to declare Bankruptcy. What you offer in a Consumer Proposal must exceed this amount, or must be better for the creditors in other ways (for example: offering to pay in a shorter amount of time).
You can determine the cost of a consumer proposal by visiting our debt repayment calculator.
